I really wish I could keep this blog gorgeous, light and airy for the simple fact that you, I and most of the rest of the world probably would rather see that than scary, sad and depressing. Unfortunately, harsh news is sometimes unavoidable if we’re being totally real about the crazy East Bay real estate market. And since I’m an East Bay Realtor, I kind of have to go there sometimes.
So today, I’d like to be of service to anyone who is having trouble sorting out the insanity that is the East Bay real estate market. This San Francisco Chronicle article gives some insight into the madness that is the huge disconnect between asking and sold prices and how appraisals don’t always match what buyers are willing to offer.
The good news is that buyers who understand or who have a Realtor who can help get them up to speed can develop a much better plan of attack than those without this critical info.
Okay, that wasn’t that bad, was it? Now here’s a photo of a little buddha from my trip this weekend in Ojai to help restore calm and beauty.
